McLane retailers are part of the group Mable buyers who have landed costs. Mable Brand Terms & Conditions 6(b) outlines the concept of "Landed Cost" and the calculation process, and this article on Adjusted Base Wholesale Prices provides more detail as well.
Landed costs are a way to include shipping costs in the price a buyer sees for a product. Mable will calculate and set these landed costs on your behalf, you only need to provide your wholesale prices with no markup for shipping.
McLane retailers and Mable cover 100% of the shipping cost for McLane orders, brands do not pay for any shipping cost on orders received on Mable through McLane's Emerging Brands. Please take this into account when setting pricing, and provide only the base wholesale prices for your products with no shipping markups.
Brands are always paid out on what you set your pricing to. McLane retailers will see landed costs on their end, which is why pricing on the packing slip for an order may differ from pricing on the Purchase Order.
When you view pricing for your products in your Mable portal you may notice two pricing fields, one titled "Wholesale price*" or "Price" and the other titled "Adjusted wholesale price" or "Adjusted price". Please make sure pricing in these fields is the same, and if you change your pricing please be sure to update both. If you sell on the Mable marketplace and in the McLane Emerging Brands program, you can set these two to be different prices. "Adjusted wholesale price" is the pricing sent to McLane, if you want that to be lower than your Mable price, "wholesale price", you can do so. Otherwise please ensure both fields are the same.
